An animated trailer for Edward Segal's new book "Whistle Stop Politics". This book is full of historical gems that combined with animation created an engaging and exciting peek into the story that unfolds.

Take a journey through time during a unique era of America's political campaign trails. Using z-depth we take the viewer on a journey through a timeline of photos, building up to the final cover of the book.

I love pushing the aesthetic of this project to fit the vintage photography. As we move forward through time, specific imagery and text related to the photographs appear. 

There is so much amazing public domain content to help create this look. A big thanks to Edward for providing the imagery from his research for the book.
